About the Washington State Trails Conference

Every two years, Washington’s trail community convenes to share success stories, skills, best practices and build a network that spans the state.  Agency leaders, individual trail advocates and trail organizations of all kinds participate in the Washington State Trails Conference.  Proceedings benefit trail planners and builders of all kinds – from urban active transportation trails to backcountry equestrian, bicycle, hiking or motorized trails.  The WSTC conferences are coordinated by a dedicated team of volunteers.  WSTC supporters also gather for off-year planning meetings.  Thanks to Greg Lovelady, we have a WSTC Conference Planning Manual offered as an aid to future planners.
